This attractively designed apartment scheme delivered for Thrive Housing Association contains 36 much-needed homes clustered within a thoughtfully designed complex on a redundant brownfield site.
The 36 unit project will deliver a mix of homes consisting of one and two bedroom flatted properties in various arrangements. The site was formerly a plant hire centre. It is conveniently located to the town centre and its proximity to the local motorway and rail networks into London.
The venture was procured for our client on the basis that all units be made available for shared ownership, allowing aspiring buyers to purchase with minimal deposits.
The proposed development has a distinctive design. The layout and form of building are interesting and tiered, with sun terracing and large amenity areas for residents’ use. The building itself sits on the bank of a local watercourse and is positioned cleverly to benefit from the newly formed landscaped gardens within the site.
V10 and Thrive were placed under extremely tight time constraints to acquire this development site. This was achieved collaboratively. The project was managed by John Stainton and Simon Kight. The land was sourced by V10’s sister company Terra Firma Land.
