In 2017 Clarion took possession of this finished scheme of 37 apartments after a development journey which started with the persistent efforts of one of V10’s Directors.

This brownfield site was home to a successful local business. However the premises were dilapidated and the business needed to expand. Spotting the development potential of the site, Karl Timberlake made contact with the landowners. Together they struck up a meaningful and straightforward relationship.

Through Karl’s involvement with a developer, a scheme nearly 30% larger than the owners envisaged at pre-app stage eventually obtained consent. This was in no small part down to the tenacity and diligence of the appointed Architects.

The result? Ten more affordable homes were delivered than originally thought, reflecting V10’s objective. The land was sourced by V10’s sister company Terra Firma Land.
