This complex mixed-use site delivered for Network Housing Association contains a 19 storey tower block tapering down to two smaller blocks of apartments. In total there are to be 122 dwellings with associated parking and community gardens.
The high rise scheme will deliver a mix of apartments consisting of one, two, and three bedroom properties in various arrangements. The site was formerly a car park, and is in the town centre. It is at the end of the Northern Line and has excellent connections to central London.
This Zone 5 project was procured for our client HA on the basis of all units being made available for shared ownership, allowing aspiring buyers to purchase with minimal deposits.
The proposed apartment complex forms a landmark building on the high street given it is 19 stories in height. A cleverly designed podium deck allows for the dual provision of parking beneath, while residents benefit from an ornate gardened amenity space on the upper courtyard level.
Simon Kight of V10 had to overcome a multiple of technical and logistical issues to ensure the scheme could be built out within the budget parameters. Working closely with our partner contractor this was successfully achieved. The land was sourced by V10’s sister company Terra Firma Land.
